- After having surgery, please must not remove or deliberately pull gauzes or bandages on ears, and must remain dry. You should remove gauzes and bandages 5-6 days later after surgery under doctor’s instruction.
- Must not press on salving material on or around ears, for avoiding causing greater degree of dizziness.
- If patient is feeling vomiting or dizzy, please take extra caution to your security.
- Please avoid sudden turning head, turning body, or movement, in order to avoid dizziness.
- If you feel like vomiting, please slowly take a deep breath for relief.
- Please avoid coughing too hard, wiping snivels, or sneezing, and should open mouth up to relieve tension inside ears.
- If there are such conditions, please report to doctor, such as temperature increases, secretion inside ears increases, hearing ability decrease, or face feels numb.
- While bathing, can wear bathing cap for avoiding water to get inside ears.
- Must not wash head within two weeks to avoid getting infections.
- Please avoid swimming, diving, and taking airplanes within 3 months.
- Please take medicine regularly and return to hospital for routine examinations after leaving the hospital.
