  1. When difficult to breath, sit up or bend forward, or raise your hands at front on both sides of your head to expand your chest to reduce the breathing difficulty.
  2. You should have the prescribed salmeterol at hand, if the symptom does not improve after using salmeterol, you should come to hospital as soon as possible
  3. What you should pay attention to if you have oxygen at home:
    (1) No open fire while using oxygen
    (2) Stay away from tinder and avoid static
    (3) Air tank should not be laid transversely on the ground
    (4) Thickness of oxygen should not exceed 2 liters per minute
  4. After inhalation, you can use postural drainage, chest percussion, coughing to expectorate
  5. Drink more water and take rest
  6. Prevent from infection and combined symptoms:
    (1) Stay calm when breathing difficulty happens
    (2) Keep warm properly could prevent from upper respir tract infection
    (3) Pay attention to personal hygiene
    (4) Set up a safe and comfortable environment
    (5) Begin balanced diet to increase physical strength
