Following suggestions can help you more actively and freely live.
I. For medicine:
- Take medicine on schedule. Don’t stop impetuously, otherwise it will cause more difficulties for motion.
- When taking medicine, don’t drink, don’t take high protein food, to avoid lowering pharmaceutical effect.
II. For eating:
- If hard to swallow, chop food, take time in eating and have more meals a day but less food at each.
- Take more high fibre food, such as vegetables, fruits to prevent constipation.

- Take less protein for breakfast and lunch, then take a little more for dinner.
III. For dress:
- Choose clothes that are loose, easy to take off, front of a garment or with zipper. For convenience, don’t use button on the clothes.

IV. For living environment:
- Keep environment dry, as the patient is sensitive to hot.

V. For moving about:

- When having difficulty moving about, use wide base walking stick to keep balance.
- When walking, keep two legs a certain distance, raise legs, heels touch down. Step forward like to stride across zebra crossing. The above-mentioned can prevent joints’ stiffening.
VI. For sleep
- Sleep on plank bed covered a quilt with cotton wadding. Sleep flat, don’t use pillow to prevent body deformed.
- The patient is easy to frequent micturition, please put bed pan beside.
VII. Others
- Continue working.
- Rehabilitate periodically to prevent joint atrophy or hardening.
- Don’t touch any agricultural chemical, for example, weedicide, pesticide, especially paraquat.
