About

The AFTYGH department of Dentistry has made every effort to serve the general public and soldiers. We have 18 dental chairs to provide general and special dental care. We have founded 5 divisions, which include General Practice and Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Periodontics, Orthodontics, and Oral & Maxillofacial surgery department, for the purpose of providing high quality service.

Characteristics

• Our Department of Dentistry offered special care clinic for handicapped patients.
• Individual dental radiology room included digital panoramic film and CT, operated by 1 radiologists with specialist license.
• Individual sterilization room with designated staff and regular machine evaluation and testing.
• Individual sterilization dental implant room.

Teaching

• We have divided our department into the abovementioned 5 divisions, we have our own attending physicians, residents as PGY and General Practice training centers.
• We also have an exclusive online radiograph transferring system for immediate radiographic image upload and transfer for students and staff in clinics.
• We conduct regular seminars and dental academic association speeches 40 to 50 times a year to enhance our learning.
• In the past 3 years, we have 100% passing rate in our PGY training course.
