Health Examinations for Foreign Nationals

Health Examination Guidelines for Foreign Nationals (including second or third category foreigners, foreign language teachers, and individuals with residence or settlement permits):

• Acceptance Time: Every Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM for registration.

• Report Collection Time: After the health examination is completed, reports can be collected within five working days. Please bring identification and the report collection slip. If someone else is collecting on your behalf, both parties must present their identification. For mail delivery, please provide registered mail postage.

Preparation and Important Notes:

• Please bring your passport, residence permit, health insurance card or original Taiwan travel document, and two recent 2-inch passport photos (similar to ID card requirements).
• Fasting or remaining on an empty stomach is not necessary.
• For residence or settlement applications and foreign language teachers, please provide proof of measles and rubella vaccinations. The vaccination documentation must include the individual’s basic information, vaccination date, administering facility, vaccine brand, and batch number. If you have not received the measles or rubella vaccinations, please contact a health center or medical institution for assistance.
• Health examinations will not be conducted on national holidays. Please make an appointment at least one week in advance, providing your passport number or ID number, along with the name and phone number of a contact person.

Health Examination Fees:

• Migrant Workers – Annual Check (including second or third category foreigners): NT$880.
• Migrant Workers – Typhoid Examination (Direct Hire): NT$500.
• Foreign Nationals (Form B): NT$880.
• Foreign Language Teachers: NT$830.

Health Examination Items:

• A chest X-ray is recommended for the screening of tuberculosis.
• Examination for Hansen’s Disease.
• Syphilis Serology Examination.
• Stool Examination for Intestinal Parasites.
• Physical Examination.
