On March 24, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) reported that local infections became severe in East Timor recently, with multiple cluster infections being reported in the areas outside its capital Dili. Thus, the CECC will remove East Timor from its list of medium-risk countries/region, effective immediately. Furthermore, local infections in Vietnam were on a downward trend, and the majority of the country’s COVID-19 cases were imported in the recent two weeks. In Singapore, there were only 2 local cases reported in the recent two weeks, and those two cases had already been infected before. In consideration of the surveillance mechanisms and capacities at the community level in the two countries, the CECC will move Vietnam and Singapore to its list of low-risk countries/regions, effective immediately. The latest list of the risk categories for countries/regions is as follows: 1. Low-risk countries/regions: New Zealand, Macao, Palau, Fiji, Brunei, Laos, Nauru, the Marshall Islands, Bhutan, Australia, Singapore, Vietnam. 2. Medium-risk countries/regions: Cambodia, Hong Kong, Mauritius.
