Taoyuan Armed Forces General Hospital

In an effort to enhance the integration of healthcare and art, and to provide patients with additional visual enjoyment, our hospital has invited Teacher Zhang Cuiyin, along with 15 other educators, to host a joint exhibition titled “Heritage ~ Calligraphy and Painting Society: Celebrating a Vibrant Life.”

Teacher Zhang stated that this exhibition embodies the concept of “heritage,” uniting creations from teachers and students across three generations—elders, middle-aged individuals, and youth—to promote a beautiful life and the diversity of a “literary society.” The displayed works encompass calligraphy, traditional Chinese landscape painting, flower and bird paintings, watercolor, and unique techniques such as water-dry painting and push painting, as well as handmade patchwork bags and dried flower art, showcasing a wide array of artistic expressions. Furthermore, the hospital director, Major General Dai, emphasized that while the hospital addresses physical ailments, art nurtures mental and emotional well-being. This aligns perfectly with the objective of highlighting these art masters. We aspire for the Kowloon Art Gallery, with the hospital’s support, to foster positive emotions and connections with patients while collaboratively cultivating a loving and healthy community through the expressions of various creators.
