Taoyuan Armed Forces General Hospital

On March 11, 2025, our institution participated in the Ministry of National Defense’s Gender Equality Business Guidance Assessment and Touring Lecture. The Ministry specially invited Professor Huang Chang-Ling from the Department of Political Science at National Taiwan University to deliver a keynote speech on the topic “Prevention of Sexual Harassment: Basic Concepts and Practical Handling.” The lecture was attended by Colonel Tsai Yi-Wei, the Deputy Dean of Administration, and attracted over 90 military personnel and staff members.

During the two-hour lecture, Professor Huang presented the fundamental concepts of sexual harassment in an accessible manner, sharing relevant legal regulations and practical applications. Her presentation not only covered the definitions and types of sexual harassment but also provided effective prevention measures and response strategies, offering attendees a more comprehensive understanding of the issue.

This event not only served as a review and reinforcement of our institution’s gender equality initiatives, as outlined by the Ministry of National Defense, but it also received high praise for the insights and expertise shared by Professor Huang. The lecture enhanced everyone’s understanding of sexual harassment prevention and bolstered our institution’s practices and commitment to gender equality.
