Vaccination leave policy to be ended along with disbandment of CECC; general leave rules to apply to COVID-19 vaccinations as epidemic prevention work has become normalized

Date:2023-04-27

On April 27, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) pointed out that as the CECC is to be disbanded and COVID-19 response is to be downgraded to a lower emergency level, relevant epidemic prevention efforts have become normalized. Additionally, the COVID-19 vaccination leave policy has served its purpose. Thus, after the leave policy ends, if people need to take time off to receive COVID-19 vaccinations, the leave rules that govern flu vaccinations will apply.
