Service

The department is divided into three primary sections:

• Anatomic Pathology Section: Responsible for tissue pathology, cytopathology, and intraoperative frozen section examinations.
• Clinical Pathology Section: Offers a comprehensive range of testing services, including biochemical, immunological, hematological, microbiological, and molecular analyses.
• Blood Bank: Responsible for overseeing blood screening processes and ensuring the safety of blood transfusions.

The Clinical Pathology Section is further divided into three primary groups:

• Biochemical Serum Room: Responsible for conducting blood and biochemical tests.
• Emergency Room: Provides immediate care and swift test results.
• Bacteriology Room: Conducts pathogen culture and drug susceptibility testing.

The department is staffed with specialized anatomic and clinical pathologists who deliver high-quality clinical testing services and professional consultations to support the medical team in enhancing diagnostic accuracy.
