The Spine Surgery Division of our Orthopedic Department follows a patient-centered philosophy, committed to delivering high-quality medical services to both military and civilian patients. The department provides a range of spinal surgeries that address conditions affecting the cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and sacral regions of the spine, including:

In recent years, advancements in technology and equipment have enabled the development of various minimally invasive procedures in spine surgery, including:

• Spinal decompression, combined with the insertion of an intervertebral spacer, aimed at relieving pressure on the spinal nerves.
• Dynamic Stabilization Systems
• Vertebroplasty

These minimally invasive surgeries significantly reduce postoperative pain and complications, thereby increasing patients’ willingness to undergo surgical procedures. Our department places a strong emphasis on the development of endoscopic spine surgery, which involves surgical incisions of only 1 to 2 centimeters. This technique allows for the treatment of herniated discs or bone spurs that compress nerves, achieving complete nerve decompression. In certain cases, patients can even undergo surgery under local anesthesia, greatly minimizing the risks associated with both the procedure and anesthesia.

In the future, spinal surgery will employ advanced navigation systems to precisely identify lesions and surgical sites, thereby minimizing excessive radiation exposure and enhancing surgical success rates.
