Introduction
The Otolaryngology department provides specialized medical services, divided into different areas based on the type of disease: ear, nose, throat, and head and neck. It offers comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for each field. Each specialty provides professional medical care for common conditions, including tinnitus, allergic rhinitis, and sore throat. Service
- Ear and Neurotology: Primarily addresses tinnitus, dizziness, hearing impairment, otitis externa, and acute and chronic otitis media. Specialized services include hearing tests, treatment of preauricular sinus, and cholesteatoma management.
- Nose: Primarily addresses nosebleeds, acute and chronic sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, and deviated septum. Specialized services include nasal congestion, nasal pus, nasal trauma, and early diagnosis of nasal tumors.
- Throat: Primarily addresses upper respiratory infections, tonsillitis, hoarseness, and difficulty swallowing. Specialized services include treatment for oral ulcers, leukoplakia, and vocal cord nodules or polyps.
- Head and Neck: Primarily addresses various tumors of the head and neck, including oral cancer, tongue cancer, nasopharyngeal cancer, and laryngeal cancer. Specialized services include treatment for sialadenitis, examination of lymphadenopathy, and evaluation of neck masses and cysts.
