Introduction

Our hospital’s Psychiatry Department was established in February 1996 to address the mental health needs of the southern Taoyuan area and military personnel.

The department offers a comprehensive range of services, including general adult outpatient care, child mental health outpatient services, insomnia treatment, and psychosomatic outpatient services, as well as 24-hour psychiatric emergency services.

For inpatient care, we provide:

  • A short-term acute inpatient ward with 75 beds
  • A day rehabilitation ward with 50 beds
  • A chronic rehabilitation ward with 100 beds

The department is staffed by a dedicated team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists from medical centers, clinical psychologists, social workers, and occupational therapists, who provide expert treatment to patients.

Our physicians not only address common mental disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, and panic disorder, but also offer comprehensive care for insomnia and psychosomatic issues.

They utilize a variety of methods, including psychotherapy, marriage counseling, and cognitive-behavioral therapy, to help patients alleviate their distress.
