Introduction

The Hematology and Oncology Department was re-established in 2015, with a focus on the diagnosis and treatment of blood disorders and tumors. Common blood disorders include various types of anemia, platelet disorders, leukemia (a form of blood cancer), lymphoma, multiple myeloma, hemophilia (a deficiency in coagulation factors), thrombosis, and transfusion-related complications. For solid tumors, such as lung cancer, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, head and neck cancers, esophageal cancer, gastric cancer, liver cancer, and urological cancers, hematology and oncology physicians collaborate with other specialists within the hospital to form a comprehensive treatment team. Together, they develop personalized treatment plans and provide holistic care.
